A beautiful film based on a true story with one of France favourite actors Omar Sy…

The clown Chocolat (Rafael Padilla) becomes, in 1886, the first black artist of the French scene. He forms a comedy duo with white clown George Foottit in a special universe with the white clown, authoritative, and a black clown scapegoat. Their success is immediate, and Chocolat becomes the first black artist in the French Scene. This moving yet funny film tackles social issues such as racism and lack of recognition in a beautiful and subtle way. Both Omar Sy and James Thierree play their roles beautifully.
